TOMMY THE MOOSE
We’d like to say thank you to Moose Lodge #1753 and Women’s Moose Chapter 956 for their generous donation of Tommy Moose dolls. Deputies and Detectives will give out the moose dolls to children that have been affected by child abuse, issues with their parents or a tragedy. When a deputy or detective gives a doll to a child it then gives them an opportunity to be able to sooth the child, calm them down, create a bond with them and the children are able to relax. There are many situations during the year in which the dolls will comfort and distract the children bearing the burden of sadness.
